I enjoyed The Little Bookstore at Big Stone Gap too
ReplyDeleteHave a great reading week
Nice variety of books. I've been feeling a lack of picture books in my life since I retired. I'm planning to sit at the public library and binge on them one of these days. I'm way ahead of my Goodreads goal too. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteHitty is an old favorite children's book and I liked The Little Bookstore of Big Stone Gap. Le Guin & Collins are favorite poets, though I'm not sure I've read So Far, So Good. Nice list of picture books, too. I've read beyond my goal, too, but will let it stay for a while. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHitty looks interesting. My weekly updates
ReplyDeleteI really love seeing all the poetry books here. :) And yes, you've done a whole LOT of reading. I enjoyed Celeste Ng's Little Fires Everywhere and keep meaning to read this other title. :)
ReplyDeleteOMG, you read so many books I love, including Merton's autobiography. I don't often see him mentioned on book blogs! Have you read any other book by him? I have read and loved many of them, but that was in my "previous life", before being a book blogger. His poems are very good too.
ReplyDeleteI'm placing Brideshead Revisited on my wishlist through the college. This sounds really good! And your #YearOfHarryPotter is tempting me to start re-reading the series this next year. That's frustrating news about The Brave Learner. If only I could hire a cleaning service to simplify life with all our home learners. HA! Have a great reading month, Katie!
ReplyDeleteI don't think you need to worry about going over your goal. Just be happy about it! :-) Looks like you've read some great books this year. I'm off to go read your review of Solo...

I think it's awesome how many books you can read and review for authors. I read everything Kwame Alexander writes. I even listened to an audiobook of his and enjoyed it.
